Usaquén was once an independent municipality from Bogotá. As the city grew, it absorbed Usaquén, including its park. This park is located across from what was the old town hall of Usaquén. It's a green space surrounded by eucalyptus and urapan trees, and nearby you'll find a wide variety of restaurants. If you go on a Sunday, the flea market awaits you with handicrafts and local traditions.
We visited a building that exemplifies the traditional way of life and economy of this area, a former hacienda now a shopping center. This site is an architectural heritage site that integrates the past with the present, reflecting a constant theme in Colombian history: adaptation.
The "Big Apple" of Usaquén connects an area marked by the past with the future; through its corridors move businessmen, ambassadors and workers of large multinationals; here, tomorrow is now.
We will visit what was once the home and is now a museum of one of the most important artists in contemporary Colombian art. Art and history in every corner. Important: This site is not open to the public on Sundays or Colombian holidays.
One of the old colonial-style haciendas of the Sabana, with republican touches, beautiful gardens and the centuries-old trees of the Park, come together with a rich art collection, making this space a living heritage of the highest level.
A pedestrianized luxury showcase, this intersection is one of the most expensive in the country, here we will see the infinite gastronomic offer, nightlife, retail and haute couture that are combined with bike paths, green areas and the capital's traffic.
