After visiting Puerto Pirámides, we keep going to the Atlantic Ocean: Caleta Valdes is the next stop. Crossing the steppe, going through 80 km. on a gravel road, watching the endemic land fauna, such as guanacos, choiques and maras and about 90 min later we arrive to the most representative geographical feature in Peninsula Valdes: the inlet where there’s an important colony of elephants seals. The giants of the sea, rest on the pebble beach, saving energy, offering us an unique spectacle of animals and natural sorroundings.
