We pick up the travelers at the booked hotel or any other place in Nairobi
On arrival you will be met at the Airport by our representative and transferred to a Nairobi Hotel where you will spend your overnight stay.
We leave Nairobi after breakfast and head northwards to Samburu National Reserve popular for endangered species of wildlife like the Gravy’s zebra, the rare Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, the long necked antelope “Gerenuk” and the Blue-shanked Somali ostrich and large herds of elephants. This National reserve in Kenya’s Northern frontier has a very wide range of birdlife. Later we head to our Samburu Lodge for Dinner and the night stay.
Today we will spend the whole day bird watching in the National Reserve. In the afternoon we have some time to relax before embarking on our late afternoon game drive to try and capture what was not seen during the day before the dusk engulfs us. Dinner and Overnight stay at Samburu Lodge.
We drive back towards Central Kenya highlands where we will spend the whole day birding at this Montane forest region. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Naro Moru River Lodge (BLD).
This morning we leave Mt Kenya and head for Lake Nakuru Park, also popularly known as the ‘Bird Watcher’s paradise’. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its millions of pink flamingoes. We have an afternoon game drive followed by a walk along the shores which will also allow us to see the many wild animals in the park and especially the park is the Sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino and the Rothschild Giraffe. Here we’ll have the chance to look out at some of the common species like the Lesser and Greater Flamingoes, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants. Dinner and Overnight stay today will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Today we have a full day at the park where we will see a wide range of bird species as well as the abundant wildlife found throughout the park. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
After breakfast we depart southwards to Lake Magadi located in the Southern Kenya’s Masai land. The Soda Lake covers an area of 104 sq. km and is completely surrounded by vast natural salt flats. The lake has flamingoes among other birds in the surrounding areas that are attracted by the Freshwater springs at the Lake’s shore. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at a Lodge.
We have an early bird walk after breakfast before having our Lunch. After Lunch we head to Nairobi occasionally stopping on the way to spot some birds. Later in the evening we have Dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant. Dinner and Overnight stay at our Nairobi Hotel.
