    05:00 AM – Departure from Puerto Maldonado Main Square The tour begins with a meeting at Puerto Maldonado Main Square, where we will start the transfer by vehicle toward the Yacumama Lake area. 05:00 – 05:25 AM – Transfer to the Starting Point Duration: approximately 25 minutes We will travel by vehicle from central Puerto Maldonado to the access point for Yacumama Lake, surrounded by the natural landscapes of the Tambopata rainforest.

    Lago Yacumama

    05:25 – 05:35 AM – Local Welcome and Walk to the Lake Upon arrival, a local community member will welcome us and provide instructions before the activity. We will then walk for approximately 7 minutes to the point where we will board a canoe 05:35 – 05:50 AM – Canoe Ride on Yacumama Lake Duration: approximately 15 minutes We will board a canoe with a maximum capacity of 7 passengers and enter Yacumama Lake. During the ride, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural surroundings and, depending on conditions, observe local wildlife 05:50 – 07:20 AM – Sport Piranha Fishing Duration: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes Enjoy a sport piranha fishing activity using ecological fishing rods and bait. The activity is carried out following practices intended to minimize the impact on the lake's ecosystem During the activity, we may also observe the area's biodiversity, including macaws, parrots, and parakeets, which can sometimes gather in large flocks

    Wildlife Observation During the canoe ride and fishing activity, depending on conditions and wildlife presence, we may have the opportunity to observe caimans in their natural habitat. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. 07:20 – 07:35 AM – Return by Canoe Duration: approximately 15 minutes After completing the fishing activity, we will return by canoe to the landing point. 07:35 – 07:45 AM – Walk Back Duration: approximately 10 minutes We will walk back to the point where your vehicle is waiting. 07:45 – 08:10 AM – Return to Puerto Maldonado Duration: approximately 25 minutes We will travel back by vehicle toward central Puerto Maldonado. 08:10 AM – Arrival at Puerto Maldonado Main Square The tour ends at Puerto Maldonado Main Square.
