Pickup from major hotels in Shanghai and transfer to take bullet train to Hangzhou, a city retains its historical and cultural heritage. You'll take a 1-hour boat ride on West Lake, visit some of Hangzhou's most notable historic and scenic places, Buddhism temple and pagodas, cultural sites such as Lingyin Temple, Meijiawu tea village, Six Harmonies Pagoda and more. Learn about Chinese history and architecture while you explore each landmark. Have lunch in a local Chinese restaurant. Return train ticket will be arranged in advance.
Pickup from hotel lobby at 6:40 and transfer to Hongqiao Railway Station. Please use passport to redeem reserved 2-way paper ticket at the ticketing office in station. Your train G85 leaves at 08:00, and it arrives Hangzhou East Railway Station at 08:45.

Take a 1-hour Cruise on West Lake. West Lake was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011, described as having "influenced garden design in the rest of China as well as Japan and Korea over the centuries" and reflecting "an idealized fusion between humans and nature".
Overlooking the Qiantang River, lies the Six Harmonies Pagoda. This masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture is one of the best places to appreciate the river's impressive tidal bores.
On Tuesday and Thursday, you will take Hangzhou Culture Tour to visit the following places. First you will head to Leifeng Pagoda. In this time-honored attraction featured in household folklore Madame White Snake, you could expect a high-up view of the West Lake from the pagoda top.
In proximity to the pagoda, enjoy quality exploring in China National Silk Museum with diverse silk exhibitions and compelling Silk Road history narrative.
Enjoy a delicious Chinese lunch, and then continue to Former Residence of Xueyan Hu, an old house built in 1875. Its layout, the building’s style and the furniture, are known as the best in Hangzhou.
Stroll on Qinghefang Old Street, a popular historical block of the city. Make the most of your time to browse delicacies and souvenirs in eateries and stores lining both sides.
Your tour concludes with drop-off at Hangzhou Railway Station. Your train G7312 leaves Hangzhou East Station at 18:16, and it arrives at Shanghai Hongqiao Station at 19:09. (The actual train code and departure time for your trip might be different eventually). From Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, transfer back to your hotel is by your own arrangement.
