    Lijiang-Lugu Lake

    Set off from Lijiang in the morning. The coach ride from Lijiang to Lugu Lake takes approximately 4 hours. We will enjoy the stunning views as we drive on the winding mountain road with 18 bends in Lining; make a 10-minute stop at the Jinsha River observation deck to see the magnificent river and have a panoramic view of the beautiful Lugu Lake from Lugu Lake observation deck for half an hour. You can have lunch (own expense) once arrive at the hotel.

    You will have two options to choose for the afternoon activity. 1. Take the Mosuo people’s unique means of transportation - Pig trough boat to tour the picturesque lake, and also visit an island called Liwubi in the middle of the lake which has a temple. 2. Take the round-the-lake bus which is one of the best way to make the most of the lake, including visits to Lion Hill, Lovers Beach, Rieger Peninsula and more attractions. Join the bonfire party at night. Stay overnight at Xinhai Tingtao Theme Boutique Hotel / Ocean Paradise Hotel (surcharge RMB110/Person)

    Lugu Lake-Lijiang

    Wake up early in the morning to hike the mountain and catch the sunrise. Later on head to the Mosuo village as you take a ride on the tractor. Before being shown around the village by the guide you will hang a prayer flag in the sacrificial altar which is one of the Mosuo traditions. You will be greeted by the village chief in her home where you will be given Hada and proposed a toast for showing you respect. The friendly chief will then give you a home tour to make you have a better understanding of their real life. The family members will then sit with you around the fire pit where you will be treated with their homemade snacks. Meanwhile, they will tell you more about their legends and stories. You can also take a photo with the family members with putting on the traditional costume. After a local lunch with the family, you will depart from the village and drive back to your hotel in Lijiang.
