After pickup from your hotel in Lijiang, you’ll set off to visit the Yuhu Village. Yuhu Village is nestled in the foothills of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and is a remote village inhabited by the Naxi ethnic group. The traditional Naxi houses built with unique rocks remain unchanged as they were almost a century ago. Take a horseback ride among the cobblestone roads, peaceful ponds, blooming trees, and preserved traditional houses while take in the gorgeous sights of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Enjoy a Naxi-style lunch at a local’s home. Later on you will experience the traditional customs of Naxi people by making some delicacies yourself such as the soybean milk using the hand mill. More interesting activities include a traditional Naxi clothing and a calligraphy lesson of Naxi Dongba characters to cap off the day. Tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel in Lijiang.
