Discover some of the top attractions in the Wadi Rum Desert on this private 4x4 comfortable jeep tour. The Seven Pillars of Wisdom rise from the desert like a stone poem — seven towering ridges shaped by centuries of wind and time. Immortalized by T.E. Lawrence, they stand as a gateway into Wadi Rum’s stories, where history and legend meet beneath the desert sun.
The Red Sand Dune, also known as Al Ramal or Al Hasany in Arabic, is one of the most famous dunes in the Wadi Rum desert. It's striking red color comes from a high concentration of iron oxide in the sand particles. Challenging to climb but at the top you can enjoy amazing panoramic views of the valley. This area is known as key filming location of famous Martian movie
You will visit Lawrence’s House — a stone structure built atop ancient Nabataean ruins of a water cistern. Legend says T.E. Lawrence stayed here during the Arab Revolt. Its weathered walls still hold the echoes of rebellion, friendship, and desert nights.
In the shadow of the desert rock, learn the secrets of preparing a traditional Bedouin meal. Savor a fresh, hearty lunch in the midday stillness, with endless desert views unfolding before you. Later, we’ll walk to see ancient Nabatean inscriptions carved into Wadi Rum’s stone. The Nabateans — an Arab nomadic tribe who settled in Jordan and beyond (4th century BC – 106 AD) — were master water engineers and skilled traders. For centuries, they navigated these vast lands by reading maps encrypted in the rocks, leaving behind messages that still speak to those who listen.
You will climb the Um Fruth Rock Bridge, one of Wadi Rum’s most iconic landmarks — a natural arch sculpted by wind and water over countless centuries. Rising about 15 meters above the desert floor, it feels like an elevated walkway between earth and sky, offering breathtaking views in every direction.
Among Wadi Rum’s many strange and beautiful rock formations stands Mushroom Rock — a natural sculpture shaped by wind and time. Perched alone on a red rock plateau and surrounded by waves of crimson sand, it is one of the desert’s most photographed wonders.
You will explore Al Burrah Canyon, one of the most visited of the many canyons that weave through Wadi Rum. This 5 km corridor of towering rock cuts deep into the mountains, offering space for hiking, camel trekking, climbing, or simply resting in the cool shade. Here, in the desert’s hidden heartland, the air feels still and time moves differently.
