    Fayoum Oasis

    Start your journey early in the morning, around 7:00 AM, to make the most of your day. The drive from Cairo to Fayoum takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Start with Wadi El Hitan, also known as the "Valley of the Whales," is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the Fayoum Governorate of Egypt. It is renowned for its extraordinary collection of fossilized whale skeletons, providing significant insights into the evolution of whales. Head to the Wadi El Rayan Protected Area. Here, you will enjoy the stunning desert landscape. It's a great spot for photography and nature walks. On your way back, stop by Tunis Village, famous for its pottery workshops. You can see artisans at work and purchase unique handmade items. Begin your journey back to Cairo, aiming to leave around 5:00 PM.
