Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation of abused chimpanzees and also a dedicated black rhinoceros breeding area.
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 km² not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County. Situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
We pick up clients from all Hotels in Nairobi.
Ours Safari vehicle will be packed in front of the hotel on the parking lot. You will identify the vehicle with Ashford Tours and Travel logo on the side
Morning pick up at 8:00 am and then drive through lush tea and coffee estates to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Sweet Waters); arriving time for lunch at the Camp as well check in. Ol Pejeta is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp
The tour gets you to Nanyuki town which lay on the Equator. A short stopover at the equator point.
Early morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy with chance to spot variety of animals including all the “Big Five” (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). Depart for Nairobi after Breakfast with Lunch on the way; arriving in the early evening at your respective hotel or Airport
