Our operations office is located at the Village at Pinnacle Peak: Suite F-103. Please arrive 30 minutes before the reservation start time. The meeting location will be on the west side of the Shell gas pumps.
We will explore cultural and historical landmarks in Old Town Scottsdale.
We will stop at the McDowell Sonoran Preserve for a nature walk. Our tour guide will present the Sonoran desert flora and fauna.
We will pass by TPC Scottsdale, where major golf tournaments are held.
We will stop to see the Frank Lloyd Wright Spire, a monumental tribute to one of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural designs.
We will pass by the former Thunderbird II, which was used to train 5500 military pilots during WWII.
We will pass by the award-winning McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park.
We will pass by the scenic Papago Park and stop at a site where WWII prisoners of war dug a tunnel to escape a POW camp.
We will pass by the Salt River Pima- Maricopa Native American Communty and your tour guide will give a presentation on the history of Native Americans in the Southwest.
