Enjoy breakfast at your hotel early in the morning before hitting the road for the most beautiful protected area in Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park. This park is located about 300 kilometres north of Kampala, passing through the famous Luwero triangle and has a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and then has lunch at Kabalega dinners. We later proceed on entering the park through Kichombanyobo gate and visit the magnificent falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile, being forced into a seven meter crevice to thunder 45 meters below in a series of cascades that can be viewed at different points. Dinner and overnight
After an early morning breakfast, we drive down to the ferry and cross the Nile to the northern sector of the park and start our game drive towards the Delta area, in search for wildlife that includes; the Rothschild Giraffe, elephant, Jackson’s Hartbeast, Lions, Warthogs, Kobs, Jackals, Oribis, Waterbucks, Patus monkeys and Leopards among others. Here also a variety of Savannah woodland birds can be seen. We go back to the lodge, relax around, have lunch and later in the afternoon, at 02:00pm go for the boat cruise on the Nile, for game viewing at close quarters as they come to cool off on the shores of the mighty Nile. Here you get a chance of seeing many schools of Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants and a variety of water birds. We come back to the lodge after about 3 hours, for dinner and overnight
After breakfast, we transfer to Kibale National Park passing through traditional home steads and the tea plantation of Fort Portal (Kabarore) with en-route lunch arriving in the evening and check in to the service of Kibale Primate Lodge for dinner and overnigh
After breakfast we slope down to the UWA Offices for registration and briefing before we start the Trekking in one of East Africa’s oldest Forest with trees as high as 50 metres . The Trekking may take about three hours in search for Habituated Chimpanzees. The forest also harbors about five primate species that include the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red tailed, Lhotse’s Monkeys and Grey cheeked Mangbey. It is also home to a variety of bird species including the rare Green Breasted Pita. We come back to the Lodge, relax around, have lunch and later go for a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland which is also very rewarding. We come back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving through the Crater Lakes region and drive south wards along the foot hills of Rwenzori Mountain Ranges, these constitute the western Rift Valley and form the boundary between Uganda and Congo. With en-route lunch at Kasese. We enter the Park with a mini game drive arriving in the afternoon and check in to the service of bush lodge, have a free afternoon, dinner and overnight
The day begins early with an early morning cup of coffee and then starts our game drive towards the Kasenyi plains in search for the wildlife that includes the Elephants, Waterbucks, Cobs, Buffaloes, Giant Forest Hogs, Bushbucks, Hyenas, Lions and Leopards among the mammal species and a variety of bird life. This Park is said to have the highest concentration of bird species as compared to any Park in the world (about 612 birds) recorded in this Park. We come back to the Lodge for breakfast, relax around, have lunch and later in the afternoon go for the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel for yet another but different view of wild life from close as they come to cool off in the Channel water. We come back to the Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight
You will explore Ishasha considered by some experts as one of the most alluring Game viewing area of east Africa. It’s an off-beaten-track destination that you will surely enjoy. You will start from the southern circuit in search of the Elephants, Buffalos, Kob, Topis, in the open savannah you might even see leopard. We continue and drive to the northern circuit where the famous tree climbing Lions can be seen as we particularly look at the fig trees where lions like to stay. After an initial scouting we return back to the lodge for the overnight and Dinner,
After breakfast you will surely enjoy another game drive in the southern circuit in search of the Elephants, Buffalos, Kob, Topis, in the open savannah you might even see leopard. We continue and drive to the northern circuit where the famous tree climbing Lions can be seen as we particularly look at the fig trees where lions like to stay later transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through the Ishasha sector where the famous tree climbing Lions can be seen as we drive to bwindi impenetrable national park arriving in Bwindi in the evening and check in to the service of Gorilla Resort for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we go to UWA Offices for registration and briefing before we start the highlight for our safari, the Gorilla Trekking . The hikers will like it although sometimes it may be strenuous walking in muddy conditions on hilly terrain and sometimes with rain over head. This may take between 2 -8 hours depending on the food availability. We come back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After a relaxed breakfast, we check out and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, arriving in the afternoon and check-in to the service of Bunyonyi Overland Camp, have our lunch and relax a bit and later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise along the lake. In this boat ride we can visit some of the lakes’ Islands where we can see a lot of water birds and see some traditional dancers and pygmies. We later come back to the camp for dinner and over night.
After a relaxed breakfast, we check out and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, arriving in the afternoon and check-in to the service of Bunyonyi Overland Camp, have our lunch and relax a bit and later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise along the lake. In this boat ride we can visit some of the lakes’ Islands where we can see a lot of water birds and see some traditional dancers and pygmies. We later come back to the camp for dinner and over night.
The day begins early as we go for the Nature walk on shores of Lake Mburo in search for wild life that includes The Zebras, Impalas, Reedbuck, Cliff springers, Buffaloes and Leopards among other mammals and a variety of bird life that includes the Papyrus Gonolake. We go back to the Lodge for breakfast and transfer to Kampala arriving in the afternoon and check in to the service of forest cottages or to the Airport according the time of your flight.
