    Oudhna is located in the heart of a fertile plain in a gently rolling region. Uthina (its ancient name) had a gigantic capitol raised above two floors of vaulted rooms still visible. It was among the largest temples in Roman Africa. Its vast, well-preserved amphitheater is partly dug into a hill. It could accommodate 16,000 spectators.
