    Nairobi to Maasai Mara

    Maasai Mara National Reserve

    After breakfast, the pick up from your hotel will be at 8 a.m. You will then be driven west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve with lunch en-route. You will be arriving in time for an evening game drive. Maasai Mara Game Reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year-round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

    After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is a scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. You will break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

    You will be departing from Nairobi with a shuttle to Arusha. You will arrive in Namanga Border for immigration procedures at the border and then proceed onto Arusha to arrive in the afternoon.     Arusha to Lake Manyara

    After breakfast, there will be a pick up from the hotel and you will then depart to Lake Manyara with lunch en-route. You will proceed to Lake Manyara for a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight will be at the campsite.

    Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro

    After breakfast, you will descend 2000 feet (670 meters) into the crater floor with your picnic lunches. The full day is spent in the park with a lunch break at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 kilometer and contains populations of varied species such as black-maned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, and other grazing animals. Dinner and overnight will be at the campsite.

    Ngorongoro to Arusha

    After breakfast, you will have your final game drive before you leave Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge. Lunch will be at the Gorge Museum and after, you will visit various sites of the gorge to see where the remains of a prehistoric man were discovered by the famous archaeologist Doctor L.S.B. Leakey. You will then proceed to Arusha to overnight.
