    Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

    You will be picked up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi at 8:00 a.m. and head southward to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley for a brief stopover to view the escarpment. You will then continue to Narok, a small Maasai town for lunch. Proceed to Maasai Mara and then check in to your camp for a brief refreshment, followed by an afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

    After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape is a scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills.
