    Kibale forest - Chimpanzee Tracking

    Kibale national park has the highest population of primates which are over 13 species, including red colobus, black and white colobus monkeys, grey chicked mangbe, blue monkey, red tailed monkeys, baboons and also chimpanzees. Forest elephants also exist within the forest. Early in the morning, after having your breakfast, you will report for briefing from the game rangers at the park headquarters at around 8am. And after that you will start the walk through Kibale forest as you search for the chimpanzees and other primates with the help of rangers. Though it’s not a guarantee that you will see them since someare not so familiar with the human beings but always with high chances (90%) of getting a eye to eye contact with these giants. They are so interesting animals to see. in the afternoon, you will have also a great time to go for a nature walk to Bigodi wetland which is the local community owned, here you will be able see a variety of bird species as you take a walk around the swamp, other primates includes, red colobus, black and white colobus monkeys, grey chickedmangbe, blue monkey, red tailed monkeys, baboons etc. back to the lodge for dinner and sleep over.
