We are a bedouin family and we work with tourists since 1985, it is our pleasure to make you discover the desert and the bedouin lifestyle.
Our treks are all "itinerant", meaning you will sleep each night in a new place, usually a sort of cave inside the rock, choosen by your bedouin guide for it's beauty, the view.. and of course sheltered from the wind. we provide mineral water during all the trek, and salads plus warm cooked dishes even at lunch time.
After lunch, matresses will be waiting you for a pleasant rest..
Washing ? Why not, but with a little water, as bedouins always used to do..
We can meet you in front the Wadi Rum resthouse, at the enter of the village.
Starting from Rum village to the Red Sand dune, the Infishieh Inscriptions, we stop for lunch and continue by a nice southern view near Lawrence House (that consists in a simple stone wall and we may stay away from it in high season if too many cars !), then sleep somewhere in a nice in desert.
We cross a large valley with small rocks (one of them being funny shaped as a "mushroom", and continue toward south, after seeing a marvelous landscape from the top of an easy small mountain. A narrow canyon, and the Burdah arch appears, on the left top of the big jebel Burdah, where we stop for the night.
