The tour ends in the crypt which was the hideout of soldiers from the Anthropoid operation. The crypt is 1 min. walk from the Dancing House or Charles Square
This is where our tour starts. There are two important monuments in Klarov. Memorial to the Second Resistance and Winged Lion Memorial. We will tell you how Czechoslovakia gained its independence in the First World War, why it was one of the first countries Hitler occupied and what happened to Czechoslovak soldiers during the WW2.
You will learn the fate of Czech Jewish people, how many of them managed to emigrate and what happened to those who didn't.
Here, next to the Old Town Hall we will tell the story of the Prague Uprising and explain how the end of WW2 set the stage for the rise of Communism in Czechoslovakia.
