Ready for an unforgettable adventure? Head to the Floating Islands of Lake Titicaca, where you’ll step onto islands made entirely of totora reeds. Imagine walking on soft, woven reeds beneath your feet as you explore these unique islands. You’ll meet the Uros people, who’ve been living on these floating islands for centuries, and get an insider look at how they build and maintain their homes. They’ll share stories about their daily lives, traditions, and how they’ve adapted to life on the lake. For an extra adventure, hop on a traditional reed boat made from the same reeds as the islands. Glide across the glimmering waters of Lake Titicaca for an experience that’ll leave you with unforgettable memories.
