Uros Floating Islands
The Uros are a fascinating indigenous people who reside in both Peru and Bolivia. They inhabit approximately 120 self-fashioned floating islands on Lake Titicaca. During your visit, you'll witness the construction process of these incredible islands and visit local families in their homes. If you wish, you can dress up like a native local and immerse yourself in their traditions. Additionally, you can take a ride on a traditional totora reed boat, offered by the locals (20 Soles p/p). After a short 30-minute uphill walk, we'll arrive at cozy rural houses where we'll be treated to a delicious Andean lunch, prepared by the islanders themselves. With our bellies full, we'll have time to relax and settle into our comfortable rooms before embarking on a scenic hike to the top of the island. There, we'll be awestruck by the stunning Inca temples "Pachamama" and "Pachatata," and witness one of the most breathtaking sunsets in the world in front of the lake. As the sun dips below the horizon, we'll return to the local houses for a delicious dinner prepared with love by our hosts. And if that's not enough, get ready to dance the night away with the families as they host a traditional party to welcome visitors. Taquile and Sillustani

Taquile Island
Get ready for another exciting day as we depart from Amantani Island's port at 8 am sharp! Our boat will journey to the picturesque Taquile Island, renowned for its vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a scenic hike along narrow paths lined with ancient agricultural terraces, leading us to the island's main square. Here, you'll have the opportunity to engage with the Taquileños, gaining insight into their unique community-based lifestyle. A highlight of our visit will be observing the island's renowned textile art, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, and witnessing demonstrations of traditional weaving techniques. Later we'll savor a delicious lunch featuring local specialties, all while enjoying panoramic views of Lake Titicaca. Then, we'll be returning to Puno to go by land to Sillustani

After our amazing adventure on Lake Titicaca Island, we'll arrive at the port and continue our journey by car to the awe-inspiring Sillustani ruins. The drive takes approximately one hour, offering scenic views of the Andean landscape along the way. Upon arrival, we’ll begin a walk to the summit, where the impressive burial towers, or chullpas, some reaching up to 10 meters high, await. These ancient funerary structures were built by the Colla civilization before being later used by the Incas, serving as final resting places for their elite. Sillustani is not only an archaeological wonder but also a site of deep spiritual significance, perched on a peninsula surrounded by the serene Umayo Lake. The combination of history, breathtaking scenery, and the mysterious legacy of the Colla and Inca cultures makes this site one of the most fascinating in Peru. This visit provides a perfect ending to our journey, with spectacular natural surroundings.
