Arrival - Today you meet your local knitter and guide, who will accompany you for the duration of your stay. She will go over the itinerary and give you a presentation about Icelandic knitting, wool, designs and patterns. Together you will choose a knitting project that you can work on during your stay. You will be taught the basics of knitting, if needed and she will help you with any queries. In the evening, you will be taken on a northern light hunt. We will drive out of Akureyri in search of the lights enjoying information and hot drinks on the way.
We start our day by driving to wonderful Godafoss waterfall and experience this magnificent waterfall up close
We will embark on a visit to a local handcraft person that will show us what they are doing and teach us about their work.
We will end the day on a relaxing and nice soak in the Forest Lagoon before we head back to our hotels.
Today we start the day with a 35 minutes drive along the Artic coastline to Hauganes where you will go on a Whale Watching tour with one of the most experienced companies in Iceland.
We will visit a handcraft person that will teach us the ropes of their craft and have a light lunch with some local food.
We are going on a visit to one of the oldest beer brewery's in Iceland. Family run in Dalvik. we will go on a guided tour through the facilities and of course taste the products along the way.
On your last day you will meet up with your guide and have a stroll through Akureyri. You get to hear stories, enjoy some wellness and have a light lunch with your guide while you go over the knitting project.

Today is your departure day, you are free to spend the day as you wish until you are transferred to Akureyri airport.
