    Nairobi to Taita Hills Game Reserve

    Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

    We will pick you up from your Nairobi Hotel and drive south to Taita Hills Game Reserve. Upon arrival at Taita Hills, around lunch hour where you will have lunch at Taita Hills Resort. After lunch, you will proceed to Saltlick safari lodge, check in and relax for around 2 hours. In the evening, you will head out on an evening game drive in the reserve, looking for lions, elephants, ostriches, zebras and other wildlife, until sunset. Afterwards, you will return to Saltlick safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Saltlick Safari lodge is unforgettable for its imaginative structure. The rondavel complex sits on stilts above a series of waterholes. These two-storey towers, topped with pointed thatched roofs connected by open bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge is purpose built for game viewing. The structure offers you a panoramic view of the sanctuary; it offers spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife.
