The 6 Days Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration safari Holiday trip offers you the opportunity to travel to some of the greatest wildlife viewing spots in Kenya amidst dramatic settings of the Maasai steppe of endless plains and the Great Rift Valley. The Maasai Mara is obviously known for its ‘Great Wildebeest Migration’ which is signaled as one of the most outstanding natural show on earth with a procession of 1.5 million wildebeest aka gnu, antelopes, and zebras. You will be stunned by the number of wild animals you will closely encounter. Here, virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya in represented.
Every Year From Mid-June to October more than a million wildebeest, zebras and antelopes scatter the vast plains of the Mara, making this natural wonder even more wondrous. This an opportunity to witness the migration, but also to see all the big five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino are here with many mammals and birds in this Masai Mara plain.

Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer you to our Nairobi Hotel for overnight stay in readiness for a holiday safari the following morning.

2Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast at your hotel, depart overland to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve-jewel of Kenya’s Game Park arriving in time for lunch at Masai Mara Sidai camp or similar. The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. After lunch, explore the Reserve on a late evening ‘Spice’ game drive. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape buffalo are in abundance.

3Maasai Mara National Reserve
Today we will be spending in the vast Eco-system of the Mara searching for the big five and much more. Game viewing is great from the air with the opportunity for beautiful pictures. The annual wildebeest migration is expected in the Maasai Mara between July and early November. Millions of animals migrate to the Mara from Serengeti in search for fresh green pastures and water. 4Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, we have morning and evening game drives in the park. The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration, the Masai Mara wildebeest migration is no considered to be one of the wonders of the world, especially as they cross the Mara River.

5Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, begins with a drive to papyrus-fringed Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. With over 400 species of bird, this freshwater lake is a birding Paradise. Along the lake’s fabled waters, we are bound to see some of the area’s more intriguing species—hippos, giraffes, buffalo and even the arboreal Columbus monkey.
