    Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and travel by road (approximately 5–6 hours) or take a short flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. This introductory drive offers chances to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, and possibly the first large herds of wildebeest depending on the season. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
