The trip usually starts early (around 5:00–6:00 AM) with a 3–4 hour drive north, followed by morning and midday game drives where you can see rhinos (including the last two northern white rhinos), lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and chimpanzees at the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
