The Masai Mara is Kenya's most celebrated game park. It offers the possibility of seeing the Big Five and many other species of game. This is where the great wildebeest migration (the world's greatest wildlife spectacle) occurs, mainly in July and August of each year. Lake Naivasha offers more than enough attractions such as boat-riding and bird-watching, the Crater Lake and Hell’s Gate National Park. Hell's Gate National Park is the only park that allows walking and cycling inside the park.
Our driver guide will come to pick you up at your hotel lobby within Nairobi
Your hotel pickup happens around 7:00 am, then you'll drive south through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint along the way. Once you arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, you'll get ready for an afternoon game drive across the tree-covered grasslands and rolling terrain of the Mara. You might see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and various herds of plains animals during the drive
After breakfast you'll head out for a full day of game viewing, making your way to the Mara River where crocodiles, hippos, and other wildlife gather. A picnic lunch happens by the water so you can watch the animals while eating. There's an option to visit Maasai villages if that interests you. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and settle in for the night.
Following breakfast, you'll leave for Lake Naivasha and go out on the water by boat, then have a picnic lunch while taking in the lake scenery. Later in the day you'll head toward Nairobi, arriving in the evening when you'll be dropped at your hotel
