The safari begins with arrival in Nairobi, where guests are met and transferred to their hotel. Depending on arrival time, there may be an opportunity for a short city tour or relaxation before dinner and an overnight stay in Nairobi.
After breakfast, depart Nairobi for the Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive across the vast plains, home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, and abundant plains game.
Spend a full day in the Masai Mara with early morning and afternoon game drives. The day offers excellent chances to spot the Big Five and observe predator activity, with a picnic lunch in the reserve and a relaxed evening at the lodge or camp.
Enjoy another full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara, exploring different areas of the reserve and following wildlife movements along the rivers and open grasslands. An optional hot air balloon safari may be arranged at sunrise. Overnight in the Masai Mara.

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this wildlife-rich caldera, home to a high concentration of animals including the black rhino. After lunch, drive back to Arusha or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure
