The tour typically begins at 5:00 AM with a hotel pickup in Nairobi, followed by a drive through the scenic plains of Kajiado County. Upon arrival at around 9:00 AM, visitors enter the park through the Meshanani Gate and embark on a game drive across Amboseli’s expansive landscapes. The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as sightings of giraffes, zebras. visitors often stop at Observation Hill, a lookout point that offers panoramic views of the park, including swamps, Lake Amboseli, and Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak. This is usually paired with a packed lunch or buffet at a lodge such as Oltukai, Serena, or Kibo Safari Camp. The afternoon features another game drive en route to the Kimana Gate, maximizing opportunities for wildlife photography and immersive nature viewing.
