We will pick up all our passengers at their respective hotels in Ica and surrounding areas, then we will transfer to the province of Nasca. Our first stop will be at the María Reiche Museum, where we will learn the story of a German woman who dedicated more than 50 years of her life to the study and conservation of the Nazca Lines. We will also visit her room where she spent most of her life, overcoming difficult moments because she was always alone for most of her life. We will also visualize a mummy in perfect condition which still has its skin and even has its entire body full of tattoos. Finally we will visit the tomb of María Reiche.
Our second stop will be at the Nasca metal viewpoint, where we can appreciate some of the majestic figures of the Nasca Lines (Tree, Toad with hands and Lizard) from a considerable height.
We will move to the Maria Reiche Aerodrome in Nasca, to then proceed to check in, and then make the overflight of the Nasca Lines. Sometimes there are flight delays due to weather conditions (fog), so passengers will have to wait until the aerodrome gives the order to fly. In that free time, passengers can walk around the aerodrome facilities, look at souvenirs and even buy a coffee while waiting for the final flight time. Generally flights start at approximately 9:30am. At the end of the flight, a flight certificate will be given to each passenger.
Our next stop will be at a Nasca Ceramics workshop, where we will have a class on making Nasca-style ceramics.
Then we will continue the visit to the Inca ceremonial center called "Paredones", we will make a panoramic visit to these large adobe ruins, which hold very important historical information in Nasca.
Our next stop will be at the Cantalloc Aqueducts, which are underground water conduits, the underground channels are made of river stone (pebble stone), we will take a walk of approximately 30 minutes to learn the history of their creation and its main functions in the history of the Nasca civilization.
