We do birdwatching tours in several places in northern Peru, but this, the forest of Pómac is one of the most special places, the protected area of this sanctuary is almost seil thousand hectares and you can see several species of mammals, dozens of reptiles, hundreds of birds and thousands of insects; if birds are your main interest, this forest has several endemics such as:
* Peruvian Cortarrama (Phytotoma raimondii)
* Rufo copeton (Myiarchus semirufus)
* Pitajo de Tumbes (Ochthoeca salvini)
* Gold pick (Piezorina cinerea)
We include tickets , vehicle, snacks, water, certified tour guide trained to identify and interpret species of flora and fauna, he or she carries a long-range camera and the photos you take will be shared with you by email or WhatsApp
We also do birdwatching tours on beaches, natural areas, mountains and deserts in other northern regions of the country
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We pick up passengers anywhere in the center of the city of Chiclayo and nearby areas.
We are on the pedestrian street, on the west side of Chiclayo's main square, two and a half blocks away, in the New Center gallery, office 17. You can come to our office, we have hot drinks, fresh water and free WiFi.
What to expect
The forest has more than a hundred species of birds recorded, several mammals, reptiles and faunal species complement our visit.
We include the loan of optical equipment for the experience, our guides take with them long-range cameras to take shots that we share with visitors at the end of the trip.
We also include entrance tickets, basic picnic breakfast and private roundtrip mobility from Chiclayo.
The tour is a group tour, but it has at least three people to take place, see if there are more travelers doing it.
We leave at 7:00 am from Chiclayo.
