Enjoy a full-day, premium experience in the heart of the Douro Valley, one of the world’s oldest demarcated wine regions. Escaping the crowds, your private guide will introduce you to the wines, landscapes, and traditions that make this valley so special. Your day begins among the vineyards at a traditional Douro “Quinta” (wine estate). Walk through the vines and cellars as you learn about grape varieties, harvesting and aging, then sit down for a guided tasting of the estate’s premium wines. Next, you’ll savor a leisurely gourmet lunch at one of the valley’s best restaurants, where contemporary takes on traditional Portuguese cuisine are paired with Douro wines selected to complement each dish. To close the day, you’ll visit another distinguished Quinta for a final tour, ending with a tasting of its carefully crafted wines. Throughout the journey, your guide shares stories, history and tips, turning a beautiful landscape into an unforgettable, truly premium Douro experience.
