Are you heading to Hydra Island from Athens? Have you considered skipping the boat from the port of Athens and making a road trip past some amazing locations?
The drive will start with a stop at the Corinth Canal and then continue to the famous (UNESCO) sites of Mycenae, Nafplio Old Town & port, and the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus U can optionally add Ancient Corinth. Finally, it will be just a short & fun boat ride to Hydra Island from Ermioni village!
This "transfer" is one of the most popular tours that both locals & tourists will do from Athens so that they see these famous sites and enjoy Nafplio town, the Old Town, and Palamidi Fortress with the 999 steps. Ermioni village [a great extra!] is also a very popular location mostly for the Greeks which should be food for thought!

All arranged so that we are in good time to maybe have an overview of this very beautiful, popular, authentic and picturesque water-surrounded village.
