Your desert adventure begins right at your hotel doorstep in Hurghada. A friendly, English-speaking driver will pick you up in an air-conditioned vehicle—no need to arrange transport or worry about timing. Whether you're staying in the heart of Hurghada or along the Red Sea coast, pickup is included and punctual, giving you time to get comfortable before the fun begins. After a short drive out of the city, you’ll reach the safari base camp on the edge of the Eastern Desert. Here, you'll meet your guides, get safety instructions, and gear up for your ATV and buggy rides. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a headscarf (available to rent or buy on site) are recommended for a smoother ride through the desert wind and sand. From there, your experience kicks into gear—literally.

What to expect

Begin your desert adventure with a powerful quad bike ride deep into the Hurghada desert—about 45–60 minutes of guided off-road fun across open sand trails and rugged terrain. Next, switch gears to a thrilling buggy car drive, where you’ll tackle dunes and sharp turns with a co-pilot or solo, depending on your style.

At the heart of the desert, arrive at a Bedouin village where tradition and hospitality take center stage. Ride a camel for a short, peaceful trek across the sand, then unwind with hibiscus tea and freshly baked flatbread. You'll learn about Bedouin culture, customs, and desert survival from locals eager to share their way of life.
