Ideal for travelers seeking variety, rich wildlife encounters, and Kenya’s natural highlights within a week.
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park Your safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, heading southeast to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, set out for a game drive, where you'll likely spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay. This is the longest valley on earth stretching over 6000 kms across Africa. Accommodation: Kilima camp Amboseli
Day 2: Full-Day in Amboseli Spend the day exploring Amboseli with both morning and afternoon game drives. This park offers excellent photography opportunities, especially in the early hours when the skies are clearer for Kilimanjaro views. Visit the Observation Hill for panoramic views over the park’s swamps and plains. The swamps attract hippos, birds, and grazing herds — while predators often lurk nearby. Enjoy another peaceful evening at camp. Accommodation: Kilima camp Amboseli
Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha After breakfast, drive northward through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, arriving by early afternoon. After lunch and a short rest, enjoy an optional boat ride on the lake, where you may see hippos, waterbucks, and many bird species. You can also opt to visit Crescent Island, a peaceful wildlife sanctuary for walking safaris among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Accommodation: Lake Naivasha country club
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for a game drive before lunch or check-in. Lake Nakuru is known for its birdlife (especially flamingos and pelicans), and for being a rhino sanctuary. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive where you may spot white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, and possibly leopards. Accommodation: Lake Nakuru Sopa
Day 6: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara Spend a full day on safari in the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch out on the plains. If you're visiting between July and October, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration and dramatic Mara River crossings. Explore different regions of the park in search of the Big Five and enjoy the expansive landscapes and endless wildlife photo opportunities. Accommodation: Tipilikwani camp Amboseli
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve After an early breakfast, drive to Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous game reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp. After a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. The Mara is renowned for its high density of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and wildebeest. Accommodation: Tipilikwani camp Amboseli
Day 7: Masai Mara – Nairobi Enjoy an early morning game drive (optional), followed by breakfast at the camp. Begin your return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You'll be dropped at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
