We will begin this tour in the morning with a departure from the lobby of your Dead Sea Hotel (Jordanian side), driving down the desert highway for about three hours to reach the astonishing site of the rock city of Petra.
The stunning rose-red city of Petra, the crown jewel of Jordan, sits 240 km south of the vibrant capital, Amman. Established around the 6th century B.C. by the adventurous Nabataean Arabs, this nomadic tribe transformed the area into a bustling hub of commerce that stretched all the way to Syria. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a thrilling horseback journey into the enchanting Siq canyon, followed by a delightful stroll to the breathtaking Treasury monument. 4Petra Visitors Center
Once the tour wraps up, you'll find your driver waiting for you at the same spot where you were dropped off (Visitor Centre). From there, you can get ready for your journey back to the Dead Sea, or if you prefer, you can opt to be dropped off at the Airport or another location of your choice in the Amman area.
