Alexandria is a very active city and, in our excursion, you will be able to visit it for 10 hours or so from Cairo (Giza). It is a city that has a lot of culture to tell and much of it is oral because there are not enough vestiges left to see the old city. With our guide you can know many things about this special city.
To start the tour it will be necessary to notify us of your location and the exact time of pick up for the tour. We take you from the hotel or from the point you want in Giza and Cairo.

After breakfast, early in the morning (around 7 am) meeting with our qualified archaeologist guide to start the tour, and pick up from the hotel to start this magnificent tour towards Alexandria city, the most important Mediterranean city in Egypt.
We'll begin our tour of the Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs, where the relief artwork shows the fusion of Egyptian and Greco-Roman culture. We'll see its three different levels, to get to know its passages, tunnels and galleries along which the tombs of the necropolis are distributed.
Second stop at Pompey's Pillar, just where the temple dedicated to the Greco-Egyptian God Serapis was once found.
Roman Amphitheater The Roman Amphitheater Alexandria is one of the most popular monuments in Alexandria City . Alexandria is the second most important city in Egypt after Cairo. Amphitheaters quite spread during the reign of the Romans.
Then we head to the Alexandria port, visiting the Qaitbey Forte. This defensive complex was constructed in the 15th century by the Sultan Qaitbey, where the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood. The lighthouse was destroyed by several earthquakes, whose remains were then used to build the citadel. Panoramic visit from outside.
We'll then enjoy lunch in the center of Alexandria, with a menu including fish, and seafood rice. (price not included lunch)
After lunch time we'll see one of the most important modern buildings in the city: The New Alexandria Library. Built in homage to the library, built in the 3rd century BC. Today the library, inaugurated in 2002, is one of the most important cultural spaces in the Eastern Mediterranean.
After finishing the whole tour, the way back to Cairo begins, directly to your hotel where we have started the tour in the morning.
