What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The initial briefing will begin when the entire group is there. The pre and post trip guidelines will be given. The reference is explicit, it will be at the Puerto Maldonado Airport.
Important: To help us coordinate your pickup and lodge transfer smoothly, we recommend arriving in Puerto Maldonado between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. This ensures we can organize your transportation effectively and provide a hassle free experience.
The meeting point is Terminal Terrestre de Puerto Maldonado, Module 2. Travelers should arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure.

1Monkey Island
Enjoy a warm welcome in Puerto Maldonado before traveling by boat to your jungle lodge. Kayak along the Madre de Dios River, then visit Monkey Island to observe playful species up close. Relax in hammocks at sunset and end the day with a nighttime caiman-spotting cruise through the Amazon.

2Lago Sandoval
Travel by boat to Lake Sandoval and walk through lush rainforest as your guide points out birds and monkeys. Swim in the lake, enjoy an Amazonian lunch, and explore by canoe to spot hoatzins, cormorants, and giant river otters. Return to the lodge with the option of a guided night walk.

3Tambopata National Reserve
Reach Tambopata Inn by road and river, then explore primary forest with your guide, learning about local livelihoods and spotting wildlife. At dusk, head out by boat to observe caimans and capybaras, followed by an optional night walk to search for insects and nocturnal animals.

4Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick
Start before sunrise with a river trip into the Tambopata Reserve. Watch colorful macaws and parrots feeding at the Chuncho Clay Lick, then visit the ranger station museum. After lunch, cool off at El Gato waterfall before returning by boat and vehicle to Puerto Maldonado.
