Explore the Ancient Greek Byzantine Route - the most important old road, in this activity of the first settlement of Paros island and walk the road together with your guide where the ancient habitants used to take the mined marble pieces on the back of donkeys, hundreds of years ago from the center of the island to the harbour.

Meeting and pickup
We will be waiting for you at the bus stop of Lefkes village (there is only one bus stop so you can not miss it)
What to expect
A relatively easy 5 km circular hike, combining authentic village atmosphere, rural charm, and traditional coffee at the end!
1.–20 min: The hike starts at the main square of Lefkes, the most picturesque and traditional inland settlement, with a small tour through the village.
2. 2 hours and 20 minutes: We will meet the Byzantine walk path, a stone-paved trail, built centuries ago, connecting the island's main villages. On our way, we enjoy great views of Paros and Naxos, stone-built bridges, and the rich flora of the hills, consisting of centuries-old olive trees and various wild aromatic herbs.
3.-10 min: We end back in the main village, at the Holy Trinity church, built out of marble, with so much history
4.- 10 minutes: Your efforts are rewarded with Vasilis's invitation for a delicious cup of traditional Greek coffee or a glass of wine, at a local café.
