Simply because it takes you through all the different landscapes that the island has to offer. In this guided tour, you will go through a Roatan's local village, an hidden mountain trail, the famous Roatan letters and you will even jump into the water with your horsy. If you have been thinking of horseback riding in your travels, this is probably the most authentic opportunity for you.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We can pick you up right in front of the cruise port or place of stay! We'll have a sign that says "Roatan Tour Guide Association" and has our logo on it! Pick-up/Drop-off are included in all of our tours. We will contact you very soon to send you more information! After booking, please check your inbox! If you require pickup past Dixon Cove, your place of stay or hotel is not included. Therefore, you can choose the option "I will select my pickup location later" and we will message you to discuss your pickup. Keep in mind there's an extra fee for pickup past Dixon Cove, depending on where you need pickup from.
We can meet you at the Roatan Letters or wherever you choose.
What to expect
Advisory Note: You will cross a road and ride on the sidewalk for a few minutes to get to the Roatan Letters and the Ocean. If you feel nervous or anxious about going on the road, please let our guide know and we'll take a different route. In this case, you will not go in the water or visit the famous Roatan Letters.
