With a 3:30 AM private pick-up, you will be driven to a secluded riverside location—far from the tourist crowds—to capture the ancient art of cormorant fishing. Your 20-year local guide and avid photographer ensures you are positioned perfectly to shoot the traditional fisherman and his birds as the light shifts from darkness to the magical blue and golden hours.

03:30 AM: Private Hotel Pick-up in Guilin or Yangshuo area 4AM. Fast, comfortable drive to the secluded location.

5:00 AM - 6:00 AM: Dark Hour Setup & Coaching on-site. Position your tripod and receive final tips on camera settings for extreme low light.Lantern & Blue Hour: The fisherman lights the gas lamp. Focus on long-exposure shots, reflections, and the silhouette of the karsts.

6:00 AM - 7:30 AM: Golden Hour: As the sun approaches the horizon, we capture the fisherman casting his net into the beautifully lit, misty river. along with many other fascinating staged photos.

7:30 AM-8:30AM: End up with a comfortable drive back to your hotel
