We pick you from the Hotel or airport and drive through the great Riftvalley to the Lake Nakuru National Park. You will stop at the Great Riftvalley viewing Point to take photos of the historical escarpment. You will have a full day game drive on this day. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for leopards which are frequently sighted and the two species of rhino - Black and White Rhino among many other animals. Lake Nakuru National Park is also known for many species of birds and flamingoes.
After Breakfast , you leave for Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in the evening with an optional introductory game drive if time allows. The amazing wildlife experience continues. On the plains are large herds of Herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. Masai Mara is the heart of Kenyan tourism with large species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). Your picnic lunch will be at the Mara River migration point.
Another full day at the king of Kenya parks, the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Mara never fails to impress with its intense concentration of big game wildlife. And during the migration season those numbers of animals significantly increase into the millions. Waves of zebra, wildebeest and eland cross the Mara River creating a spectacle you’ll never forget.
Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July and September; this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water , green grass for their survival.
After breakfast you will prepare for your departure to Serengeti national park in Tanzania. The Kenya driver guide will hand you over to the Tanzania driver after the immigration formalities at the Isebania Kenya Tanzania border. Arrive in Serengeti in the evening. Enjoy an evening sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
The day will begin in the center of the majestic Serengeti. After a nourishing breakfast, we will continue our journey into the plains. Since we have a full day of game driving, you will likely view hundreds of the diverse animals that find their home within the Serengeti’s endless plains. This day will likely offer sightings of the African mammals that make the park famous- lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and water buffalo, all within a few feet of the jeep. Visitors will also have the chance to view some of the parks lesser known, but equally majestic animals including, elands, hyenas, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffe, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos and antelope. Depending on the time of year, visitors will also have the chance to view thousands of zebra and wildebeest on their Great Migration. The hundreds of bird species, both endemic and migrating from the Eurasian region, are a special bonus for bird-watchers.
On this day, we will suggest a very early wake-up call in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and to see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. After the game drive, we'll return to the camp for a rewarding brunch, and then we'll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. You will be provided with dinner and overnight.
After an early morning breakfast, we will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is the best time to spot animals and enjoy a game drive around the crater. We then drive to Twiga Lodge for the overnight stay.
After breakfast we will depart in the morning and travel to the Tarangire National Park where you can marvel at the colossal termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. The picturesque scenery and diverse bird-life assist in creating the tranquil ambiance of the Tarangire National Park. The great elephant population is an extremely remarkable sight. African elephants are the largest land mammal and adult males can weigh as much as seven tonnes. Tarangire’s varied wildlife includes lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and baboons. When your game drive comes to an end, we will take you back to Arusha TULIA HOTEL.
Depart after breakfast for Amboseli National Park, with clear view of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Drive across Namanga Border, arriving at Amboseli in the late afternoon for lunch at the camp as well as check in. Evening game viewing starts at 16:00hrs. This Park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest (Gnu), and Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
On this day, you will enjoy a full day game drive at the historic Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is a 360 sq. km park which has the largest herds of elephants. Amboseli national park is known for its views of Kilimanjaro and the Maasai villages outside the park. The park is also famous for the amboseli wildlife photographic tours which include great photography of the Mt Kilimanjaro in the background of almost all shots of animals taken here. Capturing the snow capped kibo peak and the hundreds of elephants in the foreground has always been the iconic shot of an authentic african safari.
Morning game drives before breakfast and then depart for Nairobi after breakfast, with lunch on the way. You will be dropped at the airport or you can spend more days in Mombasa at your own cost.
