We invite you to experience a unique experience with our City Night Tour of Lima’s Historic Center and Huaca Pucllana, a tour that combines history, culture, mystery and beauty under the stars.
Tour of the Historic Center
We will start our journey through the heart of the city, where we will enter scenarios that seem stopped in time. Colonial houses, majestic churches and monumental squares take on a new life at dusk.
Plaza Mayor, Lima Cathedral and the illuminated balconies of the Jirón de la Unión will transport us back to the past in an atmosphere full of charm and tradition.
Visit to Huaca Pucllana at night
Then, we will head to one of the most amazing places in the city: Huaca Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial center of Lima culture, built more than 1,500 years ago.
The tour guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby where you are staying, he will advise in advance of your arrival.
We will tour the Historic Center of Lima, birthplace of the Peruvian capital and witness to more than 480 years of history. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991, this space preserves the original layout of the "City of Kings", with cobblestone streets, monumental churches and colonial balconies. On our tour we will visit the Plaza Mayor, surrounded by historic buildings such as the Government Palace and the Lima Cathedral, where the remains of Francisco Pizarro rest. We will also explore the Convent of San Francisco, famous for its Baroque architecture, its viceregal library and its enigmatic catacombs.
During the tour of the convent, we will enter the famous catacombs, an underground network that served as a cemetery during the viceroyal era. It is estimated that more than 25,000 people were buried here, including religious, nobles and ordinary citizens, following ancient Catholic rituals.
The Huaca Pucllana is a large pre-Hispanic ceremonial and administrative center, built by the Lima culture, a civilization that developed on the central coast of Peru between 200 and 700 AD, long before the Incas. It is located in the Miraflores district, in the heart of Lima, and is one of the main vestiges of pre-Inca cultures in the Peruvian capital.
