One of the most fascinating points of the tour is the visit to the Catacombs of the Convent of San Francisco, an underground labyrinth that holds the remains of thousands of people and that will transport you to the viceregal past of the city.
After immersing yourself in this historical and cultural part, the experience continues with a touch of flavor: you will participate in a practical class of Ceviche and Pisco Sour. A Peruvian chef will teach you how to prepare the emblematic ceviche with fresh ingredients, while learning how to mix an authentic pisco sour from an expert bartender.
We will be at the front door of the Gran Hotel Bolivar, the tour guide will be with red polo shirt and guide identification.
The tour will end at the Plaza Mayor in Lima, a central and quiet place to walk.
We will introduce ourselves to the history of Peru ; we will enter the viceroyal era and observe its beautiful architectural buildings such as: Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, Catacombs, House of Peruvian gastronomy; etc.
The tour guide will take us to the famous catacombs in the church of San Francisco de Assisi ; where more than 25 thousand buried bodies are found.
We will visit the Senior Blue restaurant where we will learn to prepare the Peruvian ceviche and taste the famous Peruvian Inka Kola.
