What to expect

Embark on a one-of-a-kind glacier adventure from Skaftafell. This 8–9 hour tour has no fixed route—each day is shaped by conditions, group dynamics, and your guide’s expertise. After a morning briefing and fitness check, you'll set off into the wild, with the potential to cross glacier tongues, summit nearby peaks, hike quiet mountain trails, or even try light climbing or ice climbing.

This tour goes far beyond the usual tourist routes, offering solitude, stunning views, and access to rarely visited areas. Along the way, your guide will share insights into local geology, glacier formation, and the surrounding landscape.

All gear and basic glacier training are included. While no prior glacier experience is needed, participants must be fit, adventurous hikers comfortable with up to 9 hours on rugged, uneven terrain.
