Offered in: English and 1 more

This is Colombian home cooking with the guidance of a chef and none of the stiffness of a classroom.

You’ll taste seasonal fruits, prepare el algo (our word for a little something between mealsin the afternoon) and cook side by side, with clear guidance when you need it and plenty of room to try, taste and make it your own.

Expect real techniques, everyday flavors, local stories and a few words you’ll probably remember long after the last bite.

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free or lactose-free? Just let us know when you book, and we’ll adapt the menu for you.

What to expect

We’ll start the way many good conversations do here: with something cold to drink and Colombian fruit as a snack on the table.

Look. Smell. Taste. Guess.

Sweet, tart, juicy, creamy... and maybe a little weird. There are no wrong answers.

Then we’ll make el algo. In Antioquia, that’s the little something we eat between meals in the afternoon. Depending on the menu, we may shape empanadas, make arepas or turn green plantains into crispy patacones, with ají, hogao or a topping to bring everything together.

You’ll cook with your hands, taste as you go and pick up a few local words. The stories come while we chop, mix and laugh together!

Then we sit down and eat what we made.

Good food. Real conversation. A little piece of Medellín around the table.

Come curious. Leave full, and maybe... a little more paisa than before!
