    The City Hall is an iconic attraction and the seat of the Municipality of Stockholm. As a government building, it is world famous as a venue for the annual Nobel. It is a masterpiece of architecture inspired by Venetian Renaissance style. During the guided tour, we visit the Blue Hall,the Golden Hall decorated with millions of mosaics ( with real gold!).

    The museum is about the flagship of the Swedish Imperial navy which sunk during its maiden voyage in 1628. After 333 years at the bottom of sea ( Baltic) , in 1961 a team of archaeologists succeeded to salvage the ship and after 11 years of hard work, today the ship is on display . It was so heavy with bronze canons and iron statues that it sunk half a mile from departure point.!

    Stockholm Old Town

    Founded in 1252, Gamla Stan ( Old Town) is the oldest island in Stockholm. Thanks to the Hanseatic League, the colorful buildings dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries the architectural style is mainly North-Germanic. Today, Gamla Stan is home to the Royal Palace, the Medieval Cathedral, the Nobel museum and famous for the charming narrow, cobbled streets and narrow alleys.
