It is a landmark of Stockholm and venue for the annual Nobel Award Banquet in the Blue Hall in presence of H.M. the King and Queen of Sweden . The building is a masterpiece of architecture , inside it is decorated with millions of mosaics .

We stroll the cobbled and narrow streets of Gamla Stan and hear stories and legends about the people who lived here 800 years ago. -we visit the Great Cathedral seat of corronation, royal weddings , funerals of all Swedish monarchs and admire the famous sculpture in timber of Saint George and the Dragon. -Then we move to the Royal Palace, home to the Royal Apartments , the Treasury, the Royal chapel, the State Hall.... -We stop by the Nobel museum and learn about the father of dynamite for peaceful purposes and founder of the Nobel Award.

From the Old Town, we move to Södermalm , the largest island in the city and the Bohemian district famous for its trendy life where we visit the view point Monteliusvägen from the hill overlooking the Lake Mälaren and the other islands.
