What to expect

After booking, you will receive your official round-trip shuttle ticket by email. The name on the ticket must match your passport or ID, as it will be checked before boarding.

When you arrive in Aguas Calientes, walk straight from the train station for about 3–5 minutes along the main pedestrian avenue. The official shuttle boarding point is easy to find: you will see the organized bus lines, staff wearing green and yellow Consettur uniforms, and signs marked “Bus to Machu Picchu.” This is the only official boarding area.

Join the uphill boarding line, show your ticket and passport, and wait for the next available bus. Shuttles depart every 15 minutes, so boarding is fast and simple. Seats are free-seating.

The ride to Machu Picchu takes about 25 minutes on a direct route with scenic views. Buses are modern, eco-friendly, and driven by professional licensed drivers, with insurance included.

The shuttle drops you off directly at the main entrance gate of Machu Picchu. After your visit, return to the same shuttle area for the ride back. Return buses also depart every 15 minutes. Your trip ends at the same stop in Aguas Calientes, close to the train station, shops, and restaurants.
