Assassinations have been used as a mechanism to silence or alter political movements and subsequently change history. Often, these events were historically significant, bringing about chaos, fear, and change; often on a global scale. Your guide will lead you on a walking tour through the dark and murky side of Corfu’s history. You will earn about assassinations from Greek and European history that in some way changed the course of history. Many of these assassinated personalities came from Corfu Island, while others visited the island, or their death impacted Corfu in some way. The tragic endings of the lives of those who went on to become Greek heroes will also be covered by your guide. During this tour you will realize how an assassination of a single person can lead to many deaths or change the course of history. The tour is adapted only to adults.
