The Snæfellsnes Peninsula welcomes us with its characteristic, golden sand beach, which stands out among other - mostly black sand - beaches in Iceland. This is also the most reliable spot to see Harbour Seals that haul out there! we will take 20 minutes of this time to arrive to the point of interest.
We move on to the south coast of the peninsula to see the remarkable Black Church. One of the oldest wooden churches in ICeland, dating back to the 19th century, Búðakirkja is found in the middle of a scenic, apparently empty village. Well, we certainly wouldn't miss such a dreamlike, surreal landscape - cameras ready! we will take 20 minutes of this time to arrive to the point of interest.
Our next stop is a small, lovely fisning village called Arnastrapi. Time for a walk along the coastline to find its hidden gem - a stunning natural stone bridge called Miðgjá. we will take 20 minutes of this time to arrive to the point of interest.
Moving to the Snæfellsjökull area, we first stop at the Black Lava Pearl Beach. Short and easy hiking will reward us with unforgrttable view of rocky cliffs, jet black sand and lush greenery, painting the dramatic landscape of this arched-shaped bay. we will take 20 minutes of this time to arrive to the point of interest.
Time to explore the area surrounding Snæfellsjökull, a 700,000-year-old glacier-capped volcano, standing in the Snæfellsjökull National Park. The Impressive glacier is believed to posses magical powers as well as to be one of the world's energy centres. Let's check!
Kirkjufell Mountian is arguably the most famous landmark of the Snaefellsjokull National Park. The picturesque mountain along with the Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall overlooking it are also one of the most photographed places in Iceland. During our walk we'll have time to take some unforgettable shots and admire the fascinating geology. we will take 50 minutes of this time to arrive to the point of interest.
